This is my 1978 Datsun 280Z. I have owned this car for over 25 years. I have added front and rear sway bars, Tokico springs and 5-way adjustable struts, roll bar, 17 inch wheels with 225-45 tires, and limited slip rear end. Corbeau leather seats and 6-point harness. We completely stripped the car, painted it and replaced all the weather strip, carpet, seats, etc. I have always wanted to put a V8 in it. This winter it is happening.

I wrote that just over two years ago.  Take a look at the build pics and let me know what you think.  I continue to make small improvements in the car, but I gotta tell you- I LOVE DRIVING THIS CAR!  I am out in it every chance I get.  The sounds, the torque, the handling, did I mention the torque?

This is easily the greatest 280 I have ever seen. It's nice to know there are people in the valley who can mod cars like this. You have done a great job. Congrats.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm actually selling it. I picked up a '75 so I can do an engine swap. California emission laws are horrible!! I remember following your Z's progress. It looks sweet with the new wheels!! I haven't seen those before and they look great! Are you on hybridz.org?
