Here is the new steering wheel, Momo Competition. Leather with a suede upper portion. I like the feel over the stock 3-spoke. Its also a shorter radius than stock, partially obstructs the view of the temp gauge...but nothing a headtilt dosent cure.

Here is the fire extinguisher. The bracket is made by Stable Engergies who also makes these for other model Porsches. The extinguisher is a Amerex Halotron dry chemical. Leaves no residue in the event that i ever do need to use it. This is a great bracket because it moves with the seat, while others restrict the foward movement of the seat a great deal.

Added in some dummy switches today. (yes they do nothing!) I dont got NOZZZZZZ or anything.

"What do those switches do?"
"ehh....its a secret."

Here are the speakers, Blaupunkt PCx462 4x6's in the front and Blaupunkt PCx652 6.5's in the back.

Took out the old Blaupunkt cassete deck and put in the Blaupunkt Casablanca CD51. Was a pain in the ass getting the wiring harness and speaker wires to fit. I recommend putting in the DIN slot first, then tucking the wires under it if you are having trouble getting everything to fit.

It looks great at night. Sound quality is noticable better, much clearer and the sound dosent become distorted at high volume.

Interior is in great shape for a 15 year old car. Seats are made by Recaro and are really very comfortable. Hold you in place well during those high speed manuvers..not that i do any of that stuff.

Wow , You are really into that Porsche!! That's cool. I bought my 924 S 14 years ago for $4500, I think they are still going for that again. I also love mine, it is very good shape, runs very well , has about 140,000 miles on it. I plan to buy a Jaguar XK8 in the spring. I have always wanted a convertable(again). I bought a 1968 XKE 2 2 back in 1972 or so , for $3000 !! I think they go for anyehere from 30,000 to 60,000 now . If only I had not wrapped it around a tree! I ran across your page because I have been looking for a pass. side front fender for my Porsche, not having any luck. If you could help with that , it would be great , otherwise feel free to share any time... Dave

Before you buy a Turbo, I suggest you try an 88 924S Club Sport with M030 suspension and 5 speed. That car is a lot lighter than a stock 924S and has 160 hp. It is simpler and cheaper to maintain than the Turbo. I am running 6" telephone dials in front and 7" ones in rear with 215/60 X 15 V-rated Yokohama ES100. The car is a blast, especially in turns.

I read that you're thinking about getting white guage faces...check out speedhut.com. You can customize your own dash. It's pretty sweet!!
