11-18-03: KLA Strutbrace installed.

11-17-03: I have quiet a few ideas in mind for the 924S now that i have a job. Over the ThanksGiving break i am having some body work done, two small dents fixed (one my fault, one their when i got the car), clear coat on the hood fixed and 3 paint chips on the right fender fixed. I have a strut-brace incoming, looking into a rear swaybar to improve handling even farther...and looking around currently for a 924 Turbo vented nose panel. After all that, other than doing a transmission swap, i think im out of things to do with the car.

10-20-03: Got my Momo wheel today. Its the Momo Champion...has suede on the top part of the wheel. Feels great, big difference from the stock wheel. Took about ten minutes to swap them. The Momo hub # is 8010...also for the early model 944. It adds 100 horsepower too...

9-24-03: Picked up this nifty Recaro cellphone holder off Ebay. Cost 15 dollars with shipping.

8-29-03: Got my new eurospec lenses in the mail today...huge difference in lighting. The 15+ yearold Hella lenses had that yellow tint to them and were terrible on backroads. Huge difference with the new lenses, i highly recommend upgrading.

I dub these new headlamps "light cannons"

8-28-03: Finished all the work mid-afternoon just like i said. Took a long time mainly because we kept having to go back to Porsche to get the right parts, but its running great now.

My dad bought another Rolls Royce today, same model i believe as the other, a 1975 Silver Spirit, but this one is in awsome shape.

Check my friends list for more pictures "gengsta2".

8-25-03: Just got all the parts for the timing belt job...

8-23-03: Was going to get some more of the work finished today, but didnt get around to it. Took some pictures of my dads Corvette which is coming along pretty well, hopefully will have it fixed up soon. And yea i found out my dads got a Rolls Royce, its a Silver Spirit i think, i figure the year is around 1975, although im not 100% sure.

8-20-03: Painted the front calipers today, i was running outta light so i will finish the rear in a day or two. Took about two hours for both calipers, came out pretty well. Check out page 10 for a step by step.

8-18-03: Cleaned up my wheels today as part of prep work to paint my calipers. I figure since i painted the center caps, i should add more color to the wheels by painting the brake calipers red. First however i decided to clean up the 15 plus years of baked on brake dust from the insides. Took about an hours worth of scrubing to get most (not all) of it off.

8-14-03: I let the center caps dry over night and put them on this morning, they look great! The port and polish made a huge difference also. Top end RPM (above 3500rpm) the car really pulls alot harder. And i can now chirp my tires on command :-). I figure it added maybe 10-15 hp.

8-10-03 : Car is at my dads shop getting some work done it, having the belts retensioned and my exhaust manifold repaired. Brembo rotors should arrive sometime next week already have Brembo pads on. Since the engine is already out of the car we are replacing all the seals and gaskets. Since the engine is apart..i decided to start port and polishing the head. Got lucky my dads mechanic knows the process and we have all the tools on site to do the work. Car will be back in two days....im stoked! Below are some pictures of a Corvette my dad is rebuilding, coming along nicley. I hope i get to drive it =-).

7-23-03 : Yay, finnaly got my exhaust fixed. No longer does my car sound like complete shit while accelerating..i forgot how nice it sounded originially. Anyway i just finished putting my new throttle cam on. Hell of a big difference, see page 2 for info.

7-17-03 : Got my MAF setup in the mail today, put it on for a little test run..was nice and loud at higher RPM. If i anything i think i lost peformance from the hot air it was sucking in. The stock airbox is already a coldair intake system. The sound is still nice though =). Took it off, will reinstall once it starts getting cooler again.

7-16-03 : Was very close to buying a 1984 Porsche 944 today. Decided against it though. Check page 8 for some pictures of it and the story.

7-14-03 : Got some new parts coming in the mail soon. Here are some pictures from today and the day before.

7-11-03 : Just put in a fire extinguisher which mounts right infront of the passenger seat because you never know when your car may suddenly burst into flames. I really put it in because once i turn 18 im goinng to start autocrossing the car, and having a FE handy is a requirement. Check page 3 for the pictures.

7-4-03 : Got my new speakers in, along with a few other minor interior things. They are Blaupunkt PCx462 4x6's. Also got a pair of Blaupunkt PCx652
6.5 inchers in the back panels. Sounds great along with the Blaupunkt headunit (i like to keep it all German!). The rear took some fabrication to get it fit..but i am the improvising master. Check page 3 for some updated pictures.

6-29-03 : New speakers are coming! Not to mention a few (ok many) much needed repairs are on the way also! Lets see, fix the exhaust, speedometer (which has not been working for over 4 months now) and a host of other smaller things. Speakers are either gonna be JBL or Blaupunkts, havent decided on that yet.

Before you buy a Turbo, I suggest you try an 88 924S Club Sport with M030 suspension and 5 speed. That car is a lot lighter than a stock 924S and has 160 hp. It is simpler and cheaper to maintain than the Turbo. I am running 6" telephone dials in front and 7" ones in rear with 215/60 X 15 V-rated Yokohama ES100. The car is a blast, especially in turns.

I read that you're thinking about getting white guage faces...check out speedhut.com. You can customize your own dash. It's pretty sweet!!
