April 09: my brother-in-law suggested I call his friend, he thought his father had a 440 short block.
I made the call and found out that, not only did he have a the 440, but it was new!
The 440 was a factory built warranty replacement short block, built in 1978. It was never used, never built, never turned, never painted! It was still coated in cosmoline to prevent rust and still had its Chrysler part tag attached.
