Getting Faster...
Latest two additions:
Hondata #4 ECU Reflash = no more conservative engine tune.
Innovative Motor Mounts (65A) = no more wheel hop.
We'll see how it goes come May when I hit the track...The difference with the reflash is night and day, and the motor mounts will provide some much needed reduction of wheel hop and help me get off the line faster.
What's next...
Am throwing around a few ideas for the summer. Am trying to hold onto my money and not drop it all into the car, but there are still a few things I'll definitely look into:
1.) DC Race header (+15 hp or so, since I have the reflash and intake)...assuming I can find a way to pass inspection.
2.) New Tires - the old ones are going, and falken is going to help me with the cost of buying new ones since my old ones are still under warranty. Azenis 615's anybody? I don't drive the car much in winter, so maybe ill do it despite the total impracticality of these tires.
3.) Exhaust - more for appearance/sound and maybe a minimal performance gain.
4.) Coilovers - my current suspension setup kicks ass with one minor flaw - it needs dropped about 1 1/4" in the front and 3/4" in the back. Hesitant to mess with it because it handles so well, but at the same time...I don't drive it over huge ass speed bumps at my high school anymore, so whats the point in having it so high?
Appearance...
Couple ideas for the look of the car...also stuff i'll be looking into this summer.
Black Chrome "A" emblem on back, with the rest debadged.
Red-out taillights
Blackout headlights
