This is my 2003 PT Cruiser that i have spent the last two years building. I only have a polish and hand pin stripe left to do on the outside of the car. I drive the car everyday for work but don't let that fool you. This is no ordinary cruiser, it packs a punch. I have done many body mods as you can see but the true attitude of the car comes from under the hood. Tommy from Kinetic built the engine bay cleaner and nicer than i imagined. This pt has more one off parts than you could point at. My two favorite parts are the short runner intake and the exhaust manifold. There is a monster intercooler with an NX sprayer, NX dual stage nitrous to the motor, GT3076r turbo and an AEM engine management system. I ran a 11.96@121mph without the nitrous on stock internals at 430whp. OUR DYNO DAY WAS AFTER THE 11 SEC PASS. THE CAR PUT DOWN 599.9WHP @ 667FTLB OF TORQUE ON STOCK INTERNALS which was the first time we had shot nitrous into it. (the SPEC clutch took what we through at it and i couldn't be more impressed with that purchase)

UPDATE ON THE BUILD (april 23, 09) : I am almost finished some big changes to the car. Since I have maxed out the performance of the stock motor I have finally decided to build up the motor. I got a DCR 2.6 ltr stroker with a pro series head (which is built to handle 1000hp), changed my turbo from a gt3076r to a gt3582r, then sent that turbo to Forced Performance to get the upgraded HTA86mm billet wheel for extra power, added direct port methanol injection, changed my nitrous to a progressive direct port 200 shot for the top end of the track, added a dis-4 msd and 4 individual blaster ss coils. I figure it will run around 600-680whp on the turbo, methanol, and intercooler sprayer with an option of adding the nitrous which could make it 800+ whp. I then added the only tranny that can handle that kind of power the DCR Auto Trans and Drive Shaft Shop level 5 axles.
