Selling $3500. Also looking at trades for an extended cab 4x4, or SUV.
Just had a baby and I had to choose family or my "baby". Unfortunately the car has to take second position. Need a good family vehicle that I can actually put to use.
Has almost every single option except the 1LE. This is also the widely wanted 9 bolt rear end.
All power options still work, and function absolutely perfectly. Power windows still have lots of life left in them.
Power seats, mirrors, windows, locks, etc.
A/C still blows decently cold, probably a few summers left for sure.
New calipers, pads, hoses, and rotors were recently done over the summer. Engine and tranny were rebuilt only 30K km ago, and have since had a recent mild tune up.
Whole car only has 140K km, with 2 previous owners. Person I bought her from owned her nearly 15 years and used the car to commute from Nanaimo to Port Alberni. About a 45-60 minute drive. Since I bought it I've used it to drive from Nanaimo to Duncan, 45 min drive. Car has seen 90% hywy miles her whole life.
As for the bad:
Paint, although not horrible it is obviously sun faded and the clear coat has started to peel. The previous owner has put on a protectant to save the metal beneath. Car is 100% rust free. Looks like it came from california.
Exhaust as a few leaks, probably want to put new pipes and muffler. Exhaust manifolds are perfectly fine.
The bushings in the rear are starting to show their age, couple of clunks here and there. Personally I would just change them all for poly. Long as you have the time to do it. It's really cheap, but definitly takes a few weekends.
She was throwing me an error for the EGR valve, but the error went away several days later. I bought the EGR valve, and just never installed it. Will be included with the car.
Few interior plastic pieces are cracked, though the headliner looks near mint.
DVD player, and underglow is included with the car. DVD player is prewired for your sub/amp.
Pics pretty much tell the story, the car is an absolute perfect starting point for a project. Or just fix the odds and ends and enjoy several years of problem free driving. Either way it's near impossible to find an IROC that hasn't been beaten. And this car is definitly not abused.
Taking pics over the weekend, sit tight till then.
