My ride is a 1977 plymouth Gran Fury Brougham, which was originally sold i Luxembourg, and imported to Sweden in 2002. I purchased this in April 2006 with only around 62000 kilometers on the meter.

This car is one of two 77 Gran Furys known in Sweden.

The Gran Fury models undervent few alternations during the years 1974-77. The Brougham was a plushier model added to the line in 1975 and got different single headlight configuration apart from the standard and Custom model. this front end became standardized for the 76-77 Gran Fury line. For 1977 the Custom model was dropped, Brougham only came as coupe or four door sedan.
3242 Brougham coupes were built, and a total of 15021 Brougham sedans.

My car came out of the line october 1976, and went on export for Luxemburg. Equipped with the 400" engine, although air cleaning systems, EGR and cathalytic converter we removed fron the car, since unleaded fuel at that time were unobtainable in Europe. Even the light bulbs in the fascia for EGR checking has been removed.

Paint scheme is Silver Cloud metallic with black vinyl top, interior is all black cloth and vinyl 50/50 seat and upholstery, and for some reason a "sport" steering wheel namned "type II wheel" in the production sheet, identical to the ones used as standard in the Chrysler Cordoba.
