UHVPLSRNV’s Nissan Pulsar

    • Currently 3.0/5 Stars.

Well, here it is. My page. This page will cover the progress of Project:

UHVPLSRNV's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

This whole ordeal started about 3 years ago with my first Pulsar, a 90, shown here:

It was love at first sight. And for $700, I couldn't resist. We went many places together. I decided to find a better body for her:

But I soon realized that the $1 ebay win was not worth it. She was rusted out. So I gutted her and had her hauled away:

Then I found this:

And for $56, I got a recently but poorly rebuilt CA16DE with manual transmission, SE body parts (mainly front bumper and fenders), and front suspension and brake hardware.
It now looks like this:

Other parts pulled: Hood, fenders, front bumper, t-tops, doors, dash, complete front suspension, the list goes on.

Here is the host for my operation:

Here we have an 87 Nissan Pulsar NX, purchased for $58. The body is in descent shape, except for 2-3 small holes in the door sill/rocker panel. Currently housed in the engine compartment is an E16I. Manual transmission. Pretty simple, right? Not very. A CA16DE will be transplanted along with a complete wiring harness and ECU, body work, paint, and replacing the worn, torn blue interior with black.

Nice job James. You have made some HUGE progress there. A 5 star start in my book. Check out my 69 Blown and Injected Charger sometime and tell me your thoughts. You can also see a 7.1 second drag run video of her. Thanks
