Toyota Carina restoration project
Autumn 2006:
Here is my classic Toyota Carina. It´s quite bad shape now, but I will rebuilt it. Those pics was taken at 10/2006.
Summer 2007:

After pleanty hours work and it look like this. Black paint is POR-15, really good stuff against the rust

Steel is real, I think :). Both side was bad shape as this so I weld some new damper here and finishing it with POR-15.
After I was done with welding job, I put interior back together. I wash those seat and I´m very proud for results
Year was gone when I drive car inside to garage and now it´s out there. Finally I can clean garage

After two days hard polishing work it look like this and what can I say? I´m very proud :).
What´s next?
There´s some parts missing like floor carpet etc. so I´ll have to find those parts first. Exhaust system is now "selfmade", but I will buy original pipe because I want to keep it original way. There´s winter coming and then I´ll stop working with car because there´s too cold to do anything. Maybe I´ll take some interior parts to upholsterer, but thats it. Next summer I´ll make new paintjob and maybe doing something to engine.

Little updating while:
Summer 2008:
New wheels and it pass registration which means that it´s street legal now! :). Like I allready say that I will make new paintjob, it didn´t happened yet. Maybe at next summer (2009). I bought new original exhaust system, there´s one little problem. The front of pipe is from different model, it´s from TA14 carina and it wont fit like original TA12 pipe. There´s have to make some changes.
