This is a base model '06 Chrysler 300. I don't have anything custom on the car except for the stereo system. The setup is a work in progress. Will post more pics as I go through the install.

This is the 3rd speaker box I've done for this car. I believe this will be the final box (although I always seem to be tweaking it to get it to sound optimal). I like a lot of bass yet still need great sound quality. The trunks in these cars are sealed pretty tight and do not let much sound into the cab. My first two boxes were not ported into the cab so the trunk ate up a lot of the bass and not much traveled into the cab unless I drove around with the back seats down (not optimal). There is a lot of bass now getting into the cab since I have it ported in the back deck. The lows get real low and it sounds great in the car. I hope to get an SPL reading once I get the box and system complete.

These trunks rattle a lot, so I designed the box so it fires toward the seats and made a trim piece that keeps the bass from getting into the trunk. I applied RAAMmat to the trunk lid and throughout the trunk, which eliminated almost all the rattle. Nothing worse than a car driving by and all you hear is tag and trunk buzzing.

Plan to cover amps and back side of box so it will be all smooth and stealth. No amps or box will be showing. I hope I can salvage a little bit of trunk space, ha!

More pics to come..
