This is my 1988 4runner that i bought in the summer of 2006 for 1200 bucks. When i bought it, it had 296*** miles on it, and believed to have a custom 2 inch torsion lift in the front and shackles and add a leafs in the rear.

Since then i have installed a complete audio system to my specs,
custom steering wheel,

Smittybilt Front Bumper,

Custom rear bumper with 2 inch receiver,

2 inch performance accessories body lift,

33x13.5x15 Toyo open country mt's on 15x10 blackspoke wheels,

fog lights,

a tach,

k and n intake, performance cam, pacesetter header and a 40 series flowmaster exhaust.

88_runna's 1988 Toyota 4RunnerThis is a new pic of my runner with my new 2 inch body lift and my new Toyo open country mt's!! Pretty sick, compared to my old pics. Its crazy seeing your ride go through changes after a while.

This beast has a 22re with a flowmaster 40 series exhaust and an rv cam and just these mods makes this thing really roar!!! It kicks so much ass.

88_runna's 1988 Toyota 4RunnerA fun muddin trip to my local pit. I smoked the other two yoats and i had the worst tires!!!

88_runna's 1988 Toyota 4RunnerMy truck dry later next to my girlfriends newly bought yoat (hopefully mine next!)

88_runna's 1988 Toyota 4RunnerMy Newly bought Pacesetter Header! Finally got it and damn, what a difference it made (after realizing i was a quart low on oil however!)

88_runna's 1988 Toyota 4RunnerFinally!!! I just got a k and n filter charger intake kit for my runner and damn now this runner having 33 inch tires and all can finally carry on in fourth gear at a decent grade. Anybody willing to spend 200 bucks or so to get this thing i highly suggest it because now that i got it i realized that it was worth every penny.

The runner has a JVC cd reciever,

Sirius Satillite Radio,

Rockford Fosgate Power series in the doors,

Pioneer6x9's in the rear,

Rockford Fosgate amp,

and now 2 JL Audio 10's in a JL manufactured box.

88_runna's 1988 Toyota 4RunnerAn updated interior pic with a grant steering wheel and shit.

go with yukon gears. strongest on the market.do it right the first time.for a 33" tire you can go with 4:88s my buddie is running 5:29s in his. alittle steeper gear.it will have higher rpms at hwy speeds but for wheeln, you will get better crawling and more accel off the line.plus if you ever want to put 35s on your rig.you can still run the 5:29s. as for a locker,go with a selectable locker(ARB)you can unlock it on the street.i had a manaul(power trax)diff lock in my T100 for 5 yrs.drove it every day.when out wheel'n one day and it left me high and dry.check out the damage page on my T100 page.after that I put a (ARB) in it.If you do go with a manual locker Only go with a detroyt

Thanks for the comments...the ragtop is/was (cause I took it off as soon as I found a hardtop) kind of a pain in the ass. The kid I bought the truck from didn't know what he had, and didn't take care of it at all (minor oil leak that could have been fixed for $200.00, but he let the oil cake all over the underside, what a mess to clean up!). The soft top also required about 50 holes be drilled into the body that, now, I have to fill and sand out. I may modify the soft top to a bikini type and attach it to the roll over bar. But, that's a ways away. I dropping in a 22re engine today from an '87 truck I bought for parts. The electrical work, getting everything working, is going to be a bitch, but I'm up to the challenge.

I had a black/chrome straight axle '85 Runner that I'm still kicking myself in the ass for selling. Man, that was a sweet ride (3 kids, no room for car seats).

Talk at 'ya soon. DRG

Thanks man, but I don't know how much the soft top costs. A grand sounds a bit over the top though. I'll call the previous owner and find out for you. Check the new pics! It is a F@#%in' beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!
