This page features two 1980 Mustangs ---- a chamois colored one purchased new in 1980 by my mom ---- and a white one that I purchased two years ago.
My plan is to take the "new" Moose (the white one) and re-create the original one. What 'cha think about that idea???
The original Moose had these "old school" wire rims on it. Though, in order to do a complete "re-creation" of it, I knew that I'd have to find a set ---- which wasn't going to be easy. With plenty of perseverance and some serious funds, I found a set that had never been on a vehicle. They were still in the original boxes ---- and were stamped received "1980." Too cool.
Here's a pic of the engine in the new Moose. It's just an average four-banger ---- but it gets the job done. For the "re-creation," it will have to come out so that the engine bay can be painted chamois.
