June 5,2009 update
well the other day i was driving on the highway and i started loosing power and then i heard pop pop and blew my engine. so i pulled over to the side of the road and popped the hood and wihen i opened it i saw nothing but smoke and flames so i shut the hood and called 911. after being asked 20 million questions the fire department shows up 20-30 minutes later and this is what is left of it.
i threw rods 2 and 4 through the block causing oil to hit my header which was hot enought to cause a spark and catch my car on fire.
May 10, 2009 update
i have recently done a few upgrades to the gts. my engine upgrades are a ebay cold air intake, an ebay 4-1 header with a 2.5 inch exhaust exiting to a ebay muffler, deleted my cruise control conjunction box, added a greddy oil catch can. suspension upgrades are front and rear strut tower bars from ebay. i also picked up a netami steering wheel, an apexi super afc neo, a black with red stiching shift boot(the old one was white), and a set of jdm fog lights to go with the all trac bumper.
Feb 23, 2009 update
i've sold the 92 gts and still have the red 90 gts. i've put a ssi lowering spring kit on it that gave it 1.75inch drop, a set of 16inch eagle alloys, and i picked up a set of dsm 450cc injectors. I also swapped out the tail lights between the 90 and 92 before i sold it. pics will be up in a few days.
Nov. 11, 2008 update
not much is going on with this celica in fact its mainly been reduced to a parts car. over the last few weeks i've aquired two other celicas. another 1990 celica gts and a 1992 toyota celica gts. the 90 is a 5 speed and in excellent condition that trumanpriest hooked me up with(his old daily driver) and the 92 is an automatic with a little bit of rust on the body that i bought from another friend for $500. the 90 will be the turbocharged beast that i will build and the 92 will be the daily driver. pics will be up soon.
