Well it appears that GTR's are very expensive to operate so... I have sold to my bro in law (always good to do that because you can get it back if needed) and got my WRX back.

But anyway, you guys can enjoy what I have done to it before I got rid of it.

And here are some pictures with the sunset reflecting off of the GTR.

The colour is LP2... Midnight Purple Metallic and it actually can appear to change colour depending on the lighting that its viewed in.

The famous RB26DETT.

Came with HKS goodies (Intake, Exhaust, suspension).

However the HKS suspension was firm enough to loosen the fillings in you teeth so I changed them to Tein Super Street units.

It wasn't long before the urge to start and upgrade hit.

I have since upgraded the HKS pods to the Greddy Racing Suction kit. This are individual Polished pipes from both turbos that replace the rubber pipes and the restrictive stock diverter pipe that leads to the intercooler.

Next up was to upgrade the ignition system.

RB series motors have Coil on Plug ignition so a set of uprated Splitfire Super Direct coils were ordered and installed.

With the addition of new NGK BKR8EIX Iridium spark plugs.

A Fitch Fuel Catalyst was added to try and deal with Nassau's Crappy Fuel.

And as a electrical upgrade I ran a Ground wire directly from the battery and hooked it up to various points on the car.

I can definitly say it helped. Starting is much quicker and all of my step motor driven gauges react much faster.
You can see the upgraded Gounds as Silver wires going to the Stock Ground points.

Next was to deal with adding additional gauges. I have a PLX Devices Air Fuel gauge that I had purchased for my WRX but never installed (hence the black face) and I got the Defi Link series gauges and Concept VSD HUD.

This shows the Air/Fuel and the Defi Boost gauge.

Here is the Water Temp Gauge.

I had to purchase a upper rad hose from Blitz to be able to install the water temp sensor Probe.

And at the same time figured an Apexi Rad Cap wouldn't be too shabby.

I got the HUD to get MPH speed reading instead of Km/h because I'm lazy and didn't want to do the mental arithmetic to convert back to MPH.

Its cool though because they can interface together so you will be able to switch between all the gauges and the speedo/RPM gauge on the HUD.

I have at the moment Water Temp and Boost, but I plan on getting Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure and Oil Temp in the near future.

And we can't forget to have some music in the car. A JVC headunit that is Sirius equiped takes care of the signal.

And an Orion 10" Sub and Amp take care of the thump.

And just because I wanted too, I changed to a Nismo shifter.

And got a Carbon Fiber GTR emblem for the rear Spoiler.
