1964 Volkwagen Bug w/ original paint, owned since 1992 (purchased from my friend who was the 3rd owner)
1776 built by the MAN, Homer Johnson and my cousin both of PHX AZ in ~92' with over 100 man hours of machine work and build (ported, polished, balanced, blueprinted, too many other goodies to mention)rebuilt again (w/ higher compression in ~96/98 due to un-welded fan spinning at 6000rpm coming apart, oops, now has welded fan)(supreme pump gas only, or better)
dual 36mm Dellorto carbs w/ Dellorto linkage
doghouse fanshroud with correct vents installed
10"X14" B&M oil cooler with thermostaticly contolled fan
New Summit 8AN braided stainless oil lines with all new fittings
Just installed A-1 Sidewinder merged header with ceramic coating and polished stainless magnaflow muffler with quick release flange for easy valve adjustments
BMD Serpentine Belt Pulley System
Scat Dragfast shifter
built 67' tranny by Bill Capatch of PHX AZ w/ Moore mid mount, Bugpack truss bar, urathane front and rear mounts, and kennedy cluch.
New headliner/carpet and seats out of a 98 civic with custom aluminum mounts.
Installed system using all spare parts (everything, not 1 item had to be bought).
Dynamat in firewall and rest of car (man what a difference) Door panels/pods built by me in '93 using masonite, 1/4" foam, velour, and MDF (same velour still on them today, car used to have 4 12's in 8.8cft box that took up entire back of bug that played down to 17htz, new box at just over 2cft doesn't play quite as low but hits just as hard). Even using same 6.5's and tweets listed below that went into panels in '93
3 12's (old style kicker solo-baric's)
2 6.5's (TSW)
4 4's (Vifa)

1 PPI 2075m (old PPI) (mid-bass)
1 fosgate punch 100 (oval endcaps) (midrange)
1 PPI PC275 (tweets) (used to be 1st gen punch 150, but it couldn't hang, been rebuilt too many times)
Alpine CDA-9833 Deck
PPI PAR-245 pre-amp
PPI OMX-432 4-way crossover

Nice VW, Ian!!! Lots of great mods but still classic looking. Very good the way you did the car overall. Must be very fun to drive. 5 great stars for you on that Dub. Cheers!!!
