Background:

This Camaro was purchased by the original owner on 4/25/98 from Rockenbach Chevrolet in Grayslake, IL (Chicago suburb). It was intended for use as a perfect weather weekend cruiser only. He did an excellent job of preserving the car’s condition by never driving it in any rain or snow, and storing it in a heated garage during the winter. Every scrap of paperwork ever associated with the car was saved and given to me when I bought the car.

I am the second owner of this car. I purchased it from the original owner on 12/11/04. It had 11,800 miles at the time. The car is all original other than general maintenance items (fluids, filters, belts, etc.) and the few basic modifications listed above. Even the wiper blades are still assembly line original!

The car continues to enjoy an easy life of garage storage, limited perfect weather cruising and summer car show events. I drive it about 1,000 miles per year, and I do my best to keep the car looking spotless for every drive or show. The pictures below were taken on 6/24/06 with about 13,500 miles on the car, at that time it also wore chrome SS/ZR1 style 17x9" wheels with 275/40/17 BF Goodrich G-force T/A KDW tires.  New pics with the AR TTII wheels will be coming in the spring of 2010.
