Under construction..

I bought my first MR2 in November of 2006 off a MR2oc board member. After that it the MR2 would change my relationship with a car forever. I drove the origional 89 hardtop for about 6 months and then came accross a pretty clean hardtop shell that used to be a show car. I bought the shell and trailerd it home and began work.

After 10 months of slow work and delays from funds I finally swapped in a 2nd Generation 3SGTE and created a MK1.5. Not only that but I had created this car from nothing. The shell was completley empty when i got it and I had to rebuild it from the ground up.

Here are some before and after pics:

i have done a lot of research on the mk1.5 but this is the first i have heard of a company making a engine mount kit. i was going to start my mk1.5 swap this winter and was going to make custom mounts like a lot of people have done in there swaps. Thanks to your info about using a speed-source conversion kit, im going to save myself a lot of time and head ache. if you could, message me...i would like to ask you some questions on your swap. 5 all the way thanks aaron
