: The Story :
So my family has owned this car ever since July 30, 1994 (day before my 7th birthday) when my parents had purchased it brand new from Lexus of Cerritos. Original owner, etc., etc. About 80-90% of maintenance work and repairs have been done by my mother's cousin at Cal Tech Auto in Northridge, which he owns. There have been no accidents prior to the one I had mentioned earlier. The keys were finally handed down to me the day I had obtained my Driver's License on December 22, 2003. What a way to start the Winter Break during my junior year in high school. I have truly loved this car ever since riding along during that test drive a little more than a decade ago. It has been our primary vehicle for about the last 12 1/2 years... week-long ski trips to Vail, Squaw Valley, Snowbird, Whistler, and Heavenly; cross-country to Crestview, Florida and back when we had moved there from October 22, 1996-June 29, 1997; so many weekend trips to Las Vegas at least once a month (if not more) over the last 8 years or so... the list goes on and on. With just about 214,000+ miles and counting on the odometer, this machine has never disappointed and has proved that it has and will continue to live on to be a pretty freaking good "First Car Ever" for myself.

On my way to pick up my one-and-only brother from Chino High School after I had already gotten out of class at Los Altos High School, I rear-ended a Mitsubishi Montero WHILE in traffic on the eastbound side of the 60 freeway here in Los Angeles... which resulted in a damaged, mountain peak-like hood along with broken headlamp assembly brackets & a completely annhialated radiator.
