'57 HEAVEN

This is a picture of what I've been doing for almost 38 years now.

How I got started was a girl in my class who's older brother had a '55 Chevy. I would help him and his buddies work on their 5-6-7 Chevies. I knew I had to own one.

I've owned 9 '57 Chevies in all. One I bought for $25, another was $40 and I drove it home.

I like nothing better than driving my 57s to area car events or just setting them in the back yard on a nice, bright, sunny, summer day. Then watch the passers-by stare.

Some even get out of their vehicles and take pictures.

(here's a pic of Jesse James 150 wagon)

Do you ever run by folks looking to sell a tri-five in decent shape that would be at an affordable price to start as a project?

We appreciate unique cars and car people. I just wanted to invite you to the Ohio Rides car club. We use to be the 3rd biggest club in the Nation. We are starting over again from the ground up, and would like for you to join and check it out. Not just a forum, but a real club with meets, events, hanging out, and large participation at other state wide events. Car shows, track days, mod days, and just old fashioned cookouts even. I hope you stop by and give it a shot. Sign up, introduce yourself and become part of the team.
Thanks, Adam Theobald
