12/20/08: Alright! Just got Makenshi back from the shop. God told me to fix the radiator and do an engine flush, good thing he did! The water outlet was demolished, I had a bad freeze plug(driver side; block), I needed the lower radiator hose replaced and the thermostat was ready to die. So all that got replaced for about $500. (Fail safe thermostat and aluminum core radiator)

Well I've had the check engine light on for quite some time and its because of the Cam/Crankshaft Angle Sensor, which is built into the distributor. It was bad. So I bought a Beck/Arnley  Distributor and after fussing with it for about 3 hours FINALLY got the timing 100% dead on TONIGHT. MAN what a job. Had to keep pulling it out and putting it back in and shoot the timing gun to see where the RPMs were and TDC and how many teeth it was off.

So a friend and I replaced the Spark plugs with NGK G-Power 7090 Platinums; compared to the old V-Power coppers, which were black as black can get. So now Makenshi runs SUPER. I put 92/93 Gasoline in all the time. I Seafoamed the shit outta the car(you should've seen the smoke pouring outta him). And I switched the oil to Full Synthetic 10w-30 Pennzoil Platinum. I chose this oil because I am DDin it and it has active cleaning agents.

I'ven ever felt this car respond so well and drive so nice.

Right now the car is running on KYB AGX all around with Tein S-series springs(About 1" lower than, stock) and Yokohama 205/55/R15 on Nissan OEM rims, which is what I chose and love to death.

Next Steps:

Nismo Mounts install, Transmission swap, and down the road full Energy Suspension setup. yeahness!!!!!

11/06/08: I've had my car back and running since early September. I'm so happy I get to drive Makenshi around now! but money is super tight. I owe people some money and gifts for helping me get him back on the road. I'm trying to save money up so I can get the front end fixed and replace the cambers all around and bushings. He needs an oil change and a vacuum leak plugged up. I'm fixing the body up alittle to make him look more presentable. =D

04/22/88: Makenshi is resting in my yard right now. I got my insurance money from the person that hit my car! Next stop is the Body Shop!!After that I'm gonna getmy new wiring harness in that I got for it and then get him a new exhaust. w00t! Thanks Everyone!

*old news*

-Oct 1-This is my car. I got it for a really good deal of $1500. It is Automatic... but the car still moves and it so much better than the Topaz I had.

-Feb 4/2007- Considering my car is from Cali. Why wouldn't anyone hook it up? I'm positive it has stage 2 cams in it -O.o!!- and it definately had a shitload of aftermarket car audio in it. So it was a frikin Sound House. My battery died at the beginning of Dec. and then the starter went in the middle of Dec. Obviously I replaced the battery (ooww hard) and paid a mech to put the starter on(I should've done it myself, save my ass $40). My horn stopped working before that tho. I tried figuring out why it didn't work. all my Relays and fuses were fine. I guess it was just the pad on the inside of the Steering wheel. It might be the horn itself.

I found out the car was really f-ed up when I found the 3 wires going to my fuse box... O.o I should've memorized the pattern. cause from there... thats when all the problems came. 1 after another Interior lighs, AC/blower, wipers, seatbelts, DASH(tach,sped,fuel,heat,O-dometer) stopped working... Now its freezing outside. I've tried setting those wires up so many times. My fuses aren't getting any power(checked them with test light, + and -) and I'm getting no power except my headlights, taillights and brakelight. At one point(for about 20 minutes on the road I had no brake lights, but I fixed them. I think only 1 of those 3 wires actually worked(thats what I had to use to hook my brakelight back up). I'm really annoyed. this problem could be a simple as a coin disrupting the electronic flow or something as complicated as rewiring the entire car. This is my very first project with it. Putting it back to OEM specs with electrical. oh, and my battery is drained every day when I don't start it. so I have to keep it running through the day so the Alternator charges it. =) wish me luck and tips are very welcomed!

-Feb 5/07- I took out my head unit... there's still a draw somewhere. I wasn't getting any sound anywhere, anyway.

-Feb 13/07- My buddy got my wipers working, interiour light, and clock. We are getting power to all the fuses in the box except my hazards... but why the hell isn't my heat working....? *shakes head* I hate what those californians did to this car.

-Feb 26/07- Got done with work and had my friend drive my car in the snow to one of our friend's place. He Took a real close look at the wiring for me. Without a wiring diagram or my chilton's manual he couldn't determine everything. This is how fucked up my wiring is. O.o... he took the fuse out for my turn signals cause they weren't working the day before. The fuse was blown. Alright, not a problem, just change the fuse. So we did. He's doing some stuff.. takes the fuse out again. I flip the turn signal switch and the turn signals work... WTF?! Thats impossible. So anyway. Now my wipers work on all like 10 speeds it has.

Well tonight(the 26th) My buddy and I(the one that drove in the snow to the house) were looking at my exhaust after I turned it on. White smoke, all over the place. Just wouldn't stop for like 10 minutes. So we got in it and I took him home. He got out and saw that there was no more white smoke pouring out of my exhaust. I have no clue why it was doing this. Hist firs thought was the Piston Rings, second thought was Head Gasket. No we don't know what it could be. I personally think there's a def exhaust leak somewhere. But we are getting ever closer to the never ending quest to save my car. Sayonarra all.

April 11/07: got rid of the gay wing, bondoed that up and sanded the deck lid and primered it. Bonded the rust spot, sanded it and primiered that was over my passenger side wheel well. just gotta get the rust on the inside of them.

I was hit by an unisured, non-liscensed kid that apparently has had many run ins with the law. He was 17 at the time but is now 18. He promised he would get the money but I didn't believe him. I called the cops, they showed up, looekd at me like it was my fault and kept askin me questions about what "really happened." What happend was I was pulling out onto the highway from a parking spot when there were no vehicles on the road, except what was infront of me, stopped. I pulled up alittle and the cars started moving, so I started moving and BOOM! I get hit in the front driver side by a 2002 Ford Taurus. Thanks a lot asshole! Now I have $1600 worth of damage done to my car. He broke my headlight flip-up arm. bent the steel bracket on the inside, shifted my bumper towards the passenger side, thus breaking the bolts that were holding it on. So now I have to drive around with my lights up all the time.

July 4/07: Ripped out the wiring for the alarm system in my car. Finally the draw is gone that kept killing my battery. Got another problem though. Since I Ghetto rigged the brake lights to work, now they don't work since the alarm was takin out. But I got a buddy that is taking the car and fixing it for me. Everything. Swapping the engine, wiring harness, tranny and fixing the body damage. Kudos and thanks to David.

09/15/07: Got a hold of the insurance company. They got a hold of the kid's dad that hit my car. He told them to tell me that he's gonna pay for all the damages. and that he wants to look at my car first. I said thats fine. I can understand, afterall. His son, if this went any further, most likely would have gotten either thrown in jail and/or gotten his liscense suspended forl ike 10 years. So thats the fresh news.

Another thing, the grounds just might be bad all around the entire car. and hopefully that solves theproblem once I take care of it.

Hope you all like the pics I took.

yea I had a 91 Twin Turbo VR4 then I moved out of CA and to kanas for 2 years so the VR4 got sold. Then I bought this on Bone stock and made it into what it is today. I have 1 of 5 just like mine ever made. But mine will be one of a kind in a couple weeks Wide Body time. Check back and see it later Jeff
