Things have slowed for a short period. The shop has become too busy with insurance claims and paying customers. Not that I really mind.

To date, we have shaved and primed the doors, hood and trunk cover. We have shaved and moulded the rear bumper and cover. (pictures coming very soon) The shaving and preping of the front cover is well under way. I have shaved and polished all of the side marker lights. The body side mouldings have been filled and remoulded to give them a soother cleaner look. All of the window mouldings and body trim pieces have been sandblasted smoothed, and primed for body color paint.

I am doing a great deal of small detail customizing to give my car a very smooth and unique look. I promise I will keep the pictures coming, and show some detail shots of all the modifications.

I am also planning some minor engine mods, and a complete engine and compartment detail and cleanup.

I have just purchased a great center console and complete shifter from GSXMEN on the LeSabre T site. Visit it here www.lesabret.com

March 21, 2007 - Update!!!

I finally found some spare time this week, and almost have the front and rear bumpers ready for final primer. Have a look at these pics... Please keep in mind this is only the rough body work stage. I still have more final filler work and smoothing to do before final primer.

We bonded the stainless side plates and upper facia all together with the front steel bumper, using plastic panel bonder. I hope I never have to take this apart...

We aren filling the front licence plate area, and have shaved and smoothed side marker lights for a flush trim fit. We had to make special shims to bring the front parklight lend out flush with the trim bezel.

On the rear, we bonded all of the separate pieces of the bumper assembly together and smoothed it all out. Again, I shaved and smoothed out the side marker lights for a nice flush fit.

I need to modify the exhaust system slightly, to bring the tips better in line with the rear bumper.

We are planning on shaving the gas filler door next, and are going to relocate it to just under the rear deck lid. I will add pics as I proceed with that mod.

April 5, 2007 - UPADATE!!!
I have almost completed the smothing of the front bumper assembly. I decided to completely join and smoothen the entire front assembly.

I now however am trying to decide whether to leave the parklight bezels in place (painted body color of course), or remove them and flush mount the parklamp assembly. I will need to do more filler work to fit the parklamp assembly better, if I decide to go that route.

Please give me your opinion as to what you think I should do... Vote on my POLL!!

April 20, 2007 - UPADATE!!!

We are now in the process of relocating the gas filler spout. We are going to relocate the filler spout to the just under the trunk lid of the car.

Old filler location, with old spout and door assembly removed.

I'm very impressed with what you have done! Moving the fuel door is a great idea, it turned out better than I thought it would. I think you should put the T-Type front spoiler on, after all, you do have the rear spoiler on. I see you're going to put the V-8 into it, good choice. I didn't see what color you are going to paint your ride? Keep up with the pics. Excellent job!
