sad news... the car has been totaled. within one week of being finished, a girl pulled out in front of me... and thats all she wrote. Luckily, everyone came out okay.
There are no plans for a rebuild seeing as the roof buckled, a-pillar buckled, and front frame buckled. All wheels cracked, air bags blown, and the firewall was pushed back an entire foot. shes done.

It will be missed.
if you are interested in any parts, seeing as the back end is okay... as far as the hatch, let me know. i have a few parts that are salvageable. just drop me a message.
ill upload pics later this week.
##### My Wide Cougar #####
The poor car had a rough past, but its back in its prime. Make sure you scroll all the way down to see the latest condition!
The Epic Story
I recieved this cougar back in 2004 as a freshmen in highschool with high hopes of turning it into nothing less than a showstopper. I actually had 2 firebirds in line for me to work on... one with a great exterior and interior, one with an engine. However, i came home from school one day and was offered this car by my dad (what a great guy!) So i went to take a look at it in which i was shocked when i saw it for the first time. All the tires were flat, no body panels at all... no hood, no front bumper, back bumper, sideskirts, no fenders, broken glass, MOLDING interior, and a badly blown engine. It was almost something to cry over. So we had it towed over to my house and began the long journey of work. within the first few weeks, i had the interior ripped out, cleaning it extremely well and replacing any parts that were destroyed. My dad owns a Kwik Kar Lube & Tune in Plano so he helped me buy parts at a much reduced rate. I began looking for body kits, hoods, and fenders to complete the outside and then found out the car had previously had a kit. I called the guy up that had them, and 300 dollars later and a cracked front bumper and i was in business... this was the beginning of my fiberglassing experience. After many idea changes, we decided to go wide. I wouldnt trade it for anything. Long story short, after almost 3 years of setbacks and trials... its in its final stages.
Take a look around, im hoping to have more pictures up in a few days as..... PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!
Just a few shots of the car before we take it to the body shop!

***** UPDATE 4/28/07 *****
it is in the paint shop now for a few weeks. We finally got it out of the body shop... 6 months. Holy crap i know. Some of you may be disappointed, but i am going back silver with a high quality clear coat. the guy who is painting it paints ferarris, porsches, BMWs, and other high end stuff... so hes good. he thought the silver would look best as it wont hide any of the detail. So i am hoping he is right... plus, a color change is not the way i want to go
