I have always loved this particular generation of the El Camino for the longest time. I loved the '78-'81 front end as opposed to all the other front ends. I can remember all the time when I was little (like 6-7 years old) I used to bug my mom and grandparents on what those cars were called there were half car, half truck.

Thanks for viewing my page, and be sure to leave a comment if you like.

News:

Feb 19th 2010

I received my gauges and the custom gauge panel fabricating process begins. So far, the holes are punched out in it, and the gauges fit in nicely. I couldn't fit the voltmeter into the panel, so it resides in the instrument panel. The final result:

Feb 15th 2010,

After nearly a year of not updating the ride page, I'll post some progress so far. The gauges finally stopped working which gives me a reason to purchase a set of Autometer Sport Comp gauges. It started with fixing the turn signals, after I got it put back together, the stock gauges worked halfway, then stopped completely. But I did get a new turn signal actuator plate and column cover. Pics on page 3.

December 7th 2007,
I got featured from Jen in the CarDomain car blog! Mainly because of one of my photoshops of the front end design. Screen capture below.
