Johnnys Dream
This project took about three months of work, and we finished in time for Christmas.
We started with a basic model that my wife picked up at a thrift store for about $25.00. We then stripped it down to the frame, modified it and then completly welded it. The frame is so strong that it actually supports myself at 190 pounds.
This Project ride was built for my, now 3 years old, son. It features, a fully welded frame, Custom Gauge Panel, Custom Glove Box, Custom Tailgate, Custom Suspension, Roll Bar Padding, Seat Belt, 2 Forward Gears, 1 Reverse,Custom Cut Wheels, Custom Hood, and Custom Wire Mesh Windshield, complemented with a "Sparky Built" Custom Hemi.
The Hemi Motor actually acts as a battery hold down and cover, to keep litle fingers from playing with the wiring.
Its Custom Paint Scheme includes some of his favorite characters, such as Spiderman, Power Rangers, and of course his own Race Team Logo, "4G's Babysports".
He even has his own track to run on, though it will soon need to be modified.
Some of the future modifications will include, a complete suspension lift, 13" rubber tires, and 4, yes 4, Mubachi 540 motors to convert it to a true 4WD, and of course a battery upgrade.
