If you remember I said on page 1 I was too interested in the cars to take pictures, well after having two boys I went to video and taped everything so the next bunch of pictures are extracts from video tape - thats why the poor quality.
Heres my GS 400 Convertible - a true exoctic muscle car - almost completely stock i put everything back to original except I added the HEI from the Vista Cruiser it was the fastest thing in valley for a long time, its now in Norway.
How she was when I first got her, streetrod on the hood, a few parts missing including GS badges (the holes were bondoed over), the real air cleaner was in trunk, the interior was a mess but the numbers checked out a true 444 car.

yes thats Toyota van in the back ground - just transportation
Not long after getting settled into our new home and about 200hrs of prep work later she was wearing new colour.

- The original colour was the light mettalic green thought about repainting it that but really disliked it, the maroon was much better choice what do you think? Now that the outside was presentable it was time to start working on this

and of course this needed some work too.
You'll have to wait until I build her own page to see the finished product I have lots pictures of this one(for a sneak peak check my 68 Sport Wagon page thats Miss kingston and Miss Hantsport on board) - she took a lot trophies, carried a lot of pagent princesses in parades (including a Miss Canada runner up) and cruised alot of miles before being traded for ...

put your guess in my guest book.... and getting shipped off to Norway.
I had the GS for a long time and others came and went during that time.
After driving the Toyota van across the province every weekend the previous winter
I picked up the 1984 Cutlass as a winter beater - big mistake it was way to light in rear to be driven in winter the van was better. The next winter I got it right
1978 Buick Park Ave ( me driving a full size Buick who would expect that)the Park it was a big as some. I got it for half what i paid for the cutlass it just needed some brake, exhaust work and a polishing. I had expected it to last a couple of winters, it was with for six and really didn't need much (tires, starter, brake cables, some rust repairs)when it came time to retire it, we had just bought the house so money was needed more then a third car. It almost became a chassis donor for
the 51 Roadmaster Riviera
which I wanted to buy years before and was given to me less engine and trans shortley after moving into our home just around the corner from she had sat in the woods for the past 20 yrs. Unfortunatly for me she was just to far gone - very fortunate for the fellow in Austrailia who gained alot of her trim for his.
The Toyota Van had been traded(plus the guy actually gave me some cash)
for something I had dreamed of owning for as long as I wanted a 71/72 Riviera, the 68 Sport Wagon is still with us for now but is for sale since I just got my Riv and made a deal with my wife to sell her and my Yukon plus the garage is over full.
Check my garage by clicking on my member id to see the pages for both plus most of our current cars( a couple more to be added including my youngest sons olds which he put of the road the first time he was to go back and visit his colllege friends (will do a page just for it, he learned alot during this rebuild) also to be added is my olds winter beater which has some close donor connections with his.
When we moved the Park Ave the SportWagon and the GS were still with us and both coninued to go to a lot of shows together funny thing is the wagon never won a trophy - maybe because ths GS or my friend Bob's 454 bug was always next to it (more of the bug will be on the GS page when I build it).
page three shows the car I traded the GS 400 for its replacement so check back and introduces a couple of others.
