    Hey, thanks for stopping by! I agree with your sentiments regarding the Banshee Prototypes. I also think DeLorean was looking for bigger fish to fry than the Corvette. Despite using Tempest underpinnings for the Banshee, it compared favorably with the Ferrari Daytona Spyder. Awesome Fiero! I've often dreamed of finding an '88 GT with T-tops someday... GM has always had way too much political drama. The original T/A was supposed to go racing, but GM killed Pontiac's 5-litre engine development program before it could go into production.
