This is my pride and joy. I've owned her for 12 years but have been upgrading her over the last four years! The paint colour is called "Formula Blue", it's the original Spec colour from HDT. These two shots are Before & After. (The paint is still original, just different light effects in the photo's).

These are the original HDT Scheel Seats with my new Harness and I've taken my Original Momo Steering wheel off to keep it in good condition. This is the Momo "Race" Pictured.vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore

I have just finished building a 355 Stroker motor based on a fresh VT 5ltr block with most of the credit going to Kerrie's Automotive Engineering (Merredin WA), there is an extensive list of top shelf performance parts used in the build and its just been Dyno run-in! She's making approx 500HP @ 5800rpm, but I think we can make a bit more once we get the tuning right. It's also got a custom 3" twin stainless exhaust (Still to be fitted).vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore
I've just finished fitting up my Trans Cooler and new hoses. I have used Earl's Un-plated Hose ends with Pro-Lite Hose and Ano-Tuff Adaptors which is consistant through out the whole car.vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore
I'm using Cal Custom Radiator hoses and this is my new Pro-Form Alternator with a Billet fan and pulley! The Power Steering Pump is a late model remote Polished unit supplied by "BLACKS RACKS"vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore
The radiator has been custom built by "Browns Radiators" (Perth) and uses a Mondeo twin thermo fan set up.vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore
The brakes have been upgraded to 330mm front rotors and 315mm rears. Suspension has been overhauled using Ultra Low King Springs and Bilstein shocks (Original re-built) all round plus heaps of other performance enhancements, like adustable control arms and panhard rod.
The Rims are Koya "RUSH" 18" X 8" with custom made centre caps "HDT". vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore

vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore The front end is a bit high because there was no engine or trans fittied at the time of this pick.vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore
I've just put some Clear Euro Style Tail lights on, check out the Before and After shots.vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore
I have De-Anodized my Carb fittings. They were Blue but I used a special recipe to strip them and then lightly polished them. All my Performance Hose & Fittings come from "ENZED" in Welshpool WA.

Just got the car back from "RAG Auto Sparky". All wiring and the Fuse box has been removed and hidden away. Next step is filling in all the holes and file finish the engine bay. I started it up the other day, but It won't turn off. Need a diode between the charge light & MSD.vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore vkgroupa3's 1985 Holden Commodore
