alpine green is it's colorI bought the car and saw all the trophies it had won in the past years in STS class. I raced twice the next year placing 1st in one race. That year I did a lot of drag and street racing but learning that people are stupid and the streets are not safe.
One night though I hit a telephone phone sideways at about 65 miles and hour. I broke the front rims hub steering knuckle and make the front struts look like bananas. After some paint and new parts 700 race alignment we were back...
After going to a car show I saw the turbos on the neons so I started to buy "stuff" = crap off of Ebay several bad turbos and other crap parts I dragged an oil line causing the unthinkable. Two front rod bearings. I parked the car in the garage for a year! i work very hard and knowing I would never put crap back on the car.
I found Cj Rombold engine builders. i bought every thing i could.
When I first had got the car, and started buying stuff that was a waste of money...like body kits

I swapped the back drums to calipers from a 1995, with zinc plated silver drilled and slotted rotor with racing pads
I bent some shifting forks and have a 1999 RT transmission going in this winter/ going to try to get old one fixed or find another and keep the rt for another spare.
I have taken the car a part to redo things i rushed last year and to rpalce things i did not get to do last year.
A 2.2 stroked forged crack

All the neat gauges in side, boost, AEM a/f, oil turbo, water temp, tack. Greedy silver turbo timer, Fake back seat/ and all extra weight gone.
