Haven't been updating this thing lately but I've successfully destroyed a rear axel, a transmission and the bottom end of my 350. The motor was never reading good oil pressure and the top end was starting to knock so I pulled it out in the summer and began a full rebuild.

Motor Before the Pull:

I tore the block down and Vogt is taking care of clearancing my new 383 rotation assembly. Forged rods, HT pistons and a new stroker crank. Should be back from swiftcurrent all balanced by the end of feb 2008. New aluminum heads are being slapped ontop along with a crane saturday night special cam.

Same engine with a smaller crane cam proved over 420 hp. I'm hoping to hit a solid 450 in my daily driver. My next worry is that my built th350 won't last. Stage 3 shift kit so its full manual but 400 hp is a lot to hold up against. As I find some more cash I'll be swapping in a posi unit I purchased a few months ago and wrapping it all up with a new set of 373 or 410 gears.

Body wise the quarters have almost been replaced. The passenger side is done and the drivers side is roughed in. Paint will come in summer after all the bodywork is done. I took the car right down to bare metal all the way around and I don't wanna do that again. Bondo is living hell. The car will be getting a cheapy paintjob since university will be sucking up all my money in a year.
