Da Nasty...

These are the pictures the previous owner e-mailed to me prior to the purchase.

I bought this car for $500 and immediately spent another $550 to make it road worthy.

The car needed an almost complete brake replacement, a new reinforcement bar for the rear bumper and patching in the passenger side rocker panel and fender.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Repairs

In terms of brakes, I've had to purchase the following:

Monroe Rotors
Monroe Brake Pads
Certified Brake Drums
Monroe Brake Shoes
Monroe Rear Wheel Cylinders
Springkit
All brake lines excluding parking break

This came to a grand total of $460 CDN

I bought a factory reinforcement bar from my trusty local garage, Dan's Automotive for $90 CDN and the patching was done for a free by a friend of mine, I just had to supply the primer and undercoating.

My transmission was leaking a bit, so I tighten the bolts and added a bottle of Lucas Transmission Cleaner which worked wonders for it. The transmission now shifts more smoothly and never slips.

I also decided to purchase a cheap new air filter, but I plan on getting my hands on a K&N cold air intake further down the road.

Repair Total: $550.00
Maintainence Total: $20

Yo man, the car's looking good already. I see that you have the same steering wheel cover as me.

How do you know about the 3.5 stroker idea? If you know about that, there's probably nothing you can learn from me... but just incase, my page has everything you're looking for. Including how to wire the power seats and the overhead console.
