This is my first car and I wouldn't want to drive anything else. Mid-engine Rear-wheel drive is wonderful. It was not in the best shape when I bought it in August, 2006, so I am restoring it.
What I have done so far:
-Tune up
-Patched up a MAJOR rust hole in the frame, where the front control arms connect
-K&N Filter
-Fixed right-side pop up headlight
-Cherry Bomb exhaust (to replace that restrictive as hell stock muffler!)
-Bondoed a few other rust spots
Here's that horrible rust hole that was patched up to be better than new!
What I plan to do soon:
-Replace coolant overflow bottle cap
-Short Ram intake
-Bondo and paint all rust spots on the body
-Generally rust proof the car for winter
-New wheels and tires
-Paint valve cover
-Clean up engine
What I plan to do eventually:
-Repaint the car (either all white, or white with red trim)
-New suspension
-Replace interior with black
-New piston rings and headgasket
-Replace a bunch of stuff with performance parts
