This is my 1974 VW Thing, while they made this vehicle for many years in Germany and Mexico, they only imported them into the US in 1973 and 1974. This is a clean example of a daily driver that is very functional. The vehicle was left stock with the exception of headers, dual carbs and electronic ignition for more reliability and to be able to keep up with todays traffic! It does have most of the options available, show bar, locking glove box, duck boards, rubber mats, stereo, 4 speakers, 15 inch chromies, glass windows, formula steering wheel and scat dragfast shifter.

Love the Thing. Hey... check it out. I live in Mexico and have a 1976 that I love but would like to take it to Utah in a month or two and have it there when I go to my home in Utah. First of all, is it hard to register and is it hard to tow. I noticed you had a tow bar. Thanks for the info. I owe ya

I finally got the Thing. Check Her out and see what you think. It's all stock except that it has "Glossy" paint which of course was suppose to have a matte finish. I wish to add duel carbs and headers. Any insights when you did yours? Is it and easy mod?
