Before you start on an exhaust job. make sure you know what the hell you're doing. Use a camara to document how the old system worked and make the new system as close to the old one as possable.I felt it was time to cut the catalytic converters off due to the unpleasant pungent smell worn-out cats make.

Make sure you put the O2 sensors in, I found it easier to just make new bungs from an 18mm nut that i cut in half.

Heres how I got everything to work out right. Starting with just the bends you need and some straight pipe. Then spend a few hours moving your bends and straights around, clamping and tacking them. Then taking the pipes off and welding them and putting them back on and then going to the next section. Its a long process of putting things on taking them off, getting burnt, then putting them back on.

Heres the down pipes into the 2 1/2 inch pipes. The 45 degree angle pipes are a 4" radious bend. The stock hangers will work with a little metal work. I'm also putting a 1" 7/8th pipe between the to straight pipes to equal out the exhaust note.

This is another shot of the first half of the pipes. Here you can see the H-Pipe.

Here are the Pigs Feet tips I plan on using, I had them on my Mustang coming out the sides to look like a Roush and they sounded like I was running 3 1/2" straight pipes out the back. In other words they resinate very well.

I think this exhaust system will do it justice. 2 1/2" all the way out the back. It will be loud and illegal as hell but most of my exhaust systems arnt 100% legal.

Heres a great way to make sure your pipes stay aligned as you're mocking them up.

A shot of the old system. I'm looking forward to using the muffler off of this thing on someting else.

Here is where things start getting loud.

This is a shot of the old system, I'll give it to Subaru, they sure know how to build a nice, quiet exhaust system. Its just to bad i dont like my cars like that.

Heres a shot of the front side of the muffler. I have to say its the most odd muffler i've ever seen. Post me a message if you want to but it, its alittle rusty here and there but its all complete ans theres no holes or leaks, i'll sell it to whoever wants it.

Theres the cat, its a nice stock cat but i dont think its was really doing anything. The stuff inside was rattling enough to make me mad so it had to go.

Passenger side, This is during the tranny swap.

Driver side all ripped up.

Look at the oil all over my stuff, thankfully i put all new seals in the tranny i put in.

Just another tranny swap pic.
