TOW HOOKS WRITE-UP

I ordered this set of tow hooks and brakets from Quadratec for $80. It included 2 extended brackets, 2 hooks, tow clips and hardware. I bought a black set to go with my black/black design of my set up.
Above: Pic of the set before it went in.
Above:First step is to remove the bumper. There are 6 total bolts that hold the brackets to the frame, but there are 4 screws that hold the plastic trim on each side that had to be removed as well.
Above:Once removed the bumper brackets need to be tapped with a hammer to allow more space for the new brackets.
Above: On the left is the bottom of the bracket near the plastc air dam. The 2 holes are for the hook bolts. On the right is a pic of the arm of the bracket on the outside of the frame. A long bolt is slid through the frame to offer addional support.
Above: Here are the hooks fully installed from the front and underneath.
This install is realtively easy, however its hard to hold the bumper up to allign it and put in the bolts. It took me about an hour and a half, but now I can pull people out of the snow.
