This is my Blazin 97' Chrysler Cirrus. Its got a 2.5 Dual overhead cam, 24 valve, V6 and I added a cold air intake. Its got a JVC 200W deck and 2 10` Pioneer 400 wat subs with a 400W Jenson amp.. I bought a set of 15in BBS racing rims when I was 15.... and through a set Goodyear rubber on em.. My Aunt owned the car before me and I told her if she ever wanted to sell it, i told her to sell it to me.... I love that car... It was the first car I ever learned to drive.. So the Cirrus and I have been through alot in the past 5 years.... I'v only owned her for about 3 months before she died on me... but I plan on bringing her back to life in the next couple of months.
Here's the story:
The first day I had her, I took her to the Chrystler Dealer down here in Sayre, PA and told my buddy Bret to take a good look over her and let me know what needed to be replaced. Then next day I went back and he told me that I needed to replace the : Soft Plugs and a few hoses.... Stupid me only replaced the hoses... because we all know how much a pain in the ass Soft Plugs are to change... So then I started to do some shit to the motor and the tranny... I put a AEM Coldair Intake on and pulled the governer for the tranny out.... she was a BEAST... I beat alot of my friends with her with all there Rice Burners.... Even my buddy's Purple with Pink and green which appered to look like 80's graphics up the sides of the doors... It's a 98' Ford Mustang with a 3.8 small V-6 and a fartcan... But to some it all up, its basicly a piece of shit.. I think the kid is gay but we wont go there..haha *Cough 18yrs old still a virgin Cough*
BUT....anyway... a few weeks later, I went out to my favorite place in the world.. Auto Zone... and bought a set of breaks and routers and rotated the tiers.. That same day, I took her up to Skyview Drags and was doin great in the first 2 heats, I smoked a Honda Civic Hatch and a Honda Accord Fastback... but the 3rd heat I noticed that she was runnin a little ruff...So I poped the hood on her to make sure that so there wasn't anything leaking ... so I jumped back in her and started her up and she was good to go.....(So I thought).... I warmed up the rubber and was racing against a 96' Chevy S-10 with a 350 small block.... I knew I was done for.. but we gave it all hell.... The guys smoked me by 3 1/2 car lengths... I got across the finish line and looked down at my gauges and noticed that my Temp gauge was peged to the hot mark... I freak the fuck out like any other person would... i pulled up to the pits and poped the hood and saw the steem roll out from her... I jus about died... So I told the guys that I was done.. and that I fucked the car up so I was goin home... I let her cool down and took her home...
When I was on my way home, I was doin about 75 trying to keep her cool, when I was going around a corner on the backroads when an 18 wheeler was taking up half the road... I swerved and hit a pothole so hard it sent a sharp pain up my spine.. i knew what happend.. and I wasnt stopin and she knew it.... I pulled in my driveway and look under her and saw Niagra Falls of antifreeze.. OUCH!
About a week later, I hooked up my trailer to my 99' Dogde Ram and took her back to my buddy Bret and told him "I think I killed her" He said "Are you fuckin serious!?" I said "yeah man, look her over and let me know what the fuck I did." He told my that I blew both front and rear gaskets, fried the waterpump and wore out the timing belt... He told me he would rather tare her down and rebuild her then to go through all that trouble.. He said its gonna cost me about $1,300... So I told him give me a few months and I'll bring her back to have him bring her back to life...
But untill then, im stuck driving my first car that I got for free from my dads friend that lived in Owego, Ny... A 89' Pontiac Grand Am 2.5, 4 banger that gets 200 miles to a 12 gal. tank of gas... What a piece of shit!!! It seems like I have to take her to the shop ever other week for stupid shit... It also seems like i spend more money on this other car then my Cirrus...
I jus hope one day she'll see that pavement someday soon.. I miss her!
