Today, I finally got around to doing the first mod to my engine. I got an ebay cold air intake and installed it. Soon, I'll be getting a better air filter to protect my engine from the cheapness of the filter it's got now. My engine has a little growl to it now, which is kinda nice.
Unfortunately, I looked at the engine bay and decided the ugly valve cover didn't go well with the shiny silver and black CAI, so I went out and bought paint today. At some point soon, I will be painting my valve cover in a low-gloss black to give it a clean stock look.

Since it was Friday and I won't really NEED the car to go places until Monday, I decided to paint my valve cover. It ended up being black and silver as planned, so it matches the CAI.

Due to heavy rains, I decided to convert my cold air intake into a short ram intake. The filter was getting more than a little water against it. I also swapped out the cheap ebay air filter with a higher quality one. I also snagged some spark plug wire clips from the salvage yard so I could clean up the display of my wires.

I converted to rear disc brakes. The donor car was a 2000 Civic Si. I was able to get the trailing arms and 4040 prop valve from that car.
