I bought a stock wing. Once it gets here, I'll take pictures of the installation process.
Update 7/25/07
The spoiler came in today too. Installation time was one and a half hours.
This is a genuine OEM Honda spoiler for the late 6th gen Civic.
Drilling holes was a pain and it took much longer than it had to. Running wires was less of a pain because the spoiler came with zip ties.
Before and after
Please forgive the wheel covers. It's at least something until I can afford rims.

I got my new tail lights in. They are the clear/red style, much like OEM but cleaner.

I decided to debadge the Civic to go for a more clean look. Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned. One of the things you have to worry about when you are not the first owner of a car is that there are all kinds of things that could have happened to the car before you got it.
Here is how the car looked before.
Here is how it looked after. I didn't realize it at the time, but the emblems were from a 7th gen Civic, and my car is a 6th gen. It looks like someone debadged it poorly before and someone else came back later and put the wrong emblems back on. The paint underneath was damaged and warped. This was not my doing. Just for comparison, here is my emblem versus the one on my old 2000 DX.
You can almost see the outline of the correct 6th gen emblem in the damaged paint, completely unlike the outline of the 7th gen one I took off.
At this point, all I can do is get some glue and put the emblems back on to hide the damage again. I don't have the funds to get the trunk lid painted. Until I can get the time to glue them back on, they will be safely attached to my dash.
Unfortunately, having them on my dash looks really ricey...

I got the fog lights installed and wired up. While I was at it, I added a chrome/mesh ebay grille to replace the stock one. It looked goofy without the Honda emblem.

I was making a left turn on an arrow and a little old lady decided to make a right on red from oncoming traffic. I still think the lights were miscalibrated because she claimed to have a green light and others started to move too, but I'll leave that to the city to figure out.
And after the repairs...
2/4/09
I installed my Type R front and rear lips.

I'm trying to keep the outside as clean as possible. My next step is wheels. I have rims and tires already. They're Flik Bullet 17x7s wrapped in Cooper Zeon ZPT tires. I have to sand the bad clear coat off and smooth the surface so I can prime and paint. I'm still deciding on a color. There aren't a lot of colors that go well with Honda's stock gold.
And one final thing today... had to represent the big H.

I picked up some Acura RSX washer nozzles for the Civic. The nozzles from a 2004-2006 RSX are direct fit and spray so much better. It didn't take 5 minutes to pop the old ones out and put the new ones in. Some people also replace the sprayer hose but I didn't need to. Stock ones spray two dinky jets. RSX ones spray a mist.
Before and after:
To me, it's nice to have little details like that added.

I did some updating on the front end of the car last week but never got to post the update. I got an Si style grille, extra emblem, and some paint. I painted the new grille, fog light bezels, and mirrors to match the body. I also got a couple of extra goodies...
Prepped for paint and after paint
Got the bezels and grille finished, good color match. Painted the mirrors separately.

I got a lot of hate for this grille already, but it's my car and this is how I want to do it. Some people like this style. I'm one of them.
There's everything installed. I'm still missing the front hood seal, but my search continues.

And the surprise: 2000 Civic Si rear disc brakes! Straight off the car, shipped, and out of the box. They were NASTY. Second pic is after I cleaned them up a bit. They may not need to be repainted. These will be installed sometime soon.
3/31/09: Rims!
I havent got the suspension or the rear disc brakes done yet, but I decided to put the rims on. If you missed the part higher up, they're Flik Bullet 17x7 rims wrapped in Cooper Zeon ZPT tires, 205/40R17.
5/20/09
I has been raining for almost a month straight, but I finally had a few days of sunshine. I got the rest of my trim painted to match the car.
Here's the front lip, prepped then painted
Here's the rear lip, prepped then painted
The side skirts took forever to paint. I had to clean them up really well, paint them, then sand them back down to plastic a couple of times to get the paint on evenly.
I also color matched the inner mirror cover things just for the sake of painting something.
Painting the handles...
Putting it all back together...

I put on some Civic Si rims with Kumho Ecseta AST tires. They're 205/50/15s. Only 1 rim had to have a weight on the outside.
