UPDATE: I'm final on my decision: Instead of trading this car in for an SS or a Trans Am, I'm just going to swap the 3800 for a built LS1/tranny. I love this car too damn much to get rid of it. And that's that.
So I started upgrading. I got a flowmaster 80 series with a 3" I pipe and slash chrome tips. It doesn't have that V8 sound but it still sounds pretty good. Also got a Whisper lid, K&N lid and a SLP intake. I'm trying to decide on a new set of rims. Turns out that most aftermarket rims don't look good on 4th gen f-bodies so replica GM rims are pretty much the way to go.
I went home on leave for Christmas and took a couple new pics. That's my aunt's 79 Cougar with the 351 Windsor and 15" Kragers.
