...AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

Why cut a perfectly good Pathy in half?I wouldn't!! The electrical problems were the last straw. She still had sentimental value, and experimental potential! Meet the Pathfollower:

First, to define the space and seperate the useful cargo area from the rest of the carcass.
Once the cuts are made, don't forget to disconnect this bar that the seatbelts mount to and loops under the frame! then, pull it apart!
The old frame was tattered, so I hitched an old 60's Dodge frame to the Pathy and pulled a tow strap through the chopped body. Then, I winched the rear half of the body onto the other frame!
The rear of the body was higher than the front. I cut in 2 Pathy body mounts into 5" square tube stock and bolted it between the frame and under the rear of the Pathy body. I bolted pieces of the square tube stock on the outside of the front of the frame and lined up with the front mounts of the Pathy body.
