.BIG BLUE '77 SCOUT II
UPDATE, 4-11-2009: WELL, I GOT RID OF THE SCOUT BUT DID PURCHASE A NEW TOY, A 1990 BRONCO II ON TOP OF A EARLY BRONCO FRAME AND DRIVETRAIN, I'LL GET THAT ON HERE AS SOON AS I CAN, THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT CHECKED OUT MY SCOUT AND HOPE THAT THE BRONCO WILL ENTERTAIN EVERYONE AS MUCH.
Hey there, this is my 1977 SCOUT II. When I picked it up it was pretty basic, it had a 3" body lift with 33" All Terrian tires, aside from the headers and Edelbrock carb it was stock.
I wheeled it for 1 season then decided to make some changes. I decided to leave the stock 345 and 4 speed alone for now and concentrate on getting her a little taller. A spring over lift was first along with my own long travel shock set up, that allowed me to fit the 36" TSL's on with no problem. After deciding I really don't like body lifts I removed that shortly after. After a little fender trimming things will fit nicely. Next on the list will be new bumpers and a full cage, For now the 3.54 gearing will have to work along with a welded rear and a limited slip in front. There will be alot more in the near future but for now I just want to 'Wheel. The orange Scout belongs to a friend of mine.

This is pretty much how it looked when I bought it. I changed to a 32" Mud King and got rid if the hard top.

This pic is right after I did the spring over with new tires but before removing the body lift.

JUST SOME MISC. PICS FROM BEFORE THE LIFT, STILL HAD ALOT OF FUN

THIS SCOUT BELONGS TO A FRIEND OF MINE, THIS IS ONE TOUGH TRUCK.
