Nice Ride! I like the underbody and strobe on it, nice! Never saw underbodies on a fairmont before! For the aftermarker knob radios, you should get the dual brad with cass, you can change it to either knobs, or full deck! My grandpa used to have a 84 sedan fairmont til a kid without insurance smashed into him on the left side, and insurance comp. would not fix it, so he sold it for junk and got the crown vic! Keep me posted for pics! Check out my ride and vote/rate!

Hey thanks for the comment, I really like your interior and the new paint looks good too. Progress? Not really I guess. I drive it every day, and am trying to devote most of my time right now to the 89/82 GT project. I'm still having the same carb boilover problem with the Mont that I've had for a while - any suggestions?

Fairmonts are definitly the way to go when doing a resto project...There are no Fairmonts like mine around my area at all...havent seen one...you get some people to take second glances...the car is definitly better in the stock condition outside...however, i am looking for another futura to do a custom job to...I just picked up a 83 futura four door from the junk yard...i have the thing scrapped, and in the near future, i am going to be taking a Mustang Convertible...1979-1987...and convert it to be a fairmont convertible...I had my roof done in connecticut...I also did most of the body and paint work myself...I like what you have done with yours...If you want to see more pics of my fairmont go to www.myspace.com/fairmontlova...and check out my page...also if you want me to make you one of those fairmont script signs out of wood, let me know, i can make one and send it to you...Nice work, and it is good to see another one is saved from the crusher!!
