My car is a 1972 Oldsmobile 98 Regency. This model was the Oldsmobile 75th anniversary car. It was bought new by my grandfather in Westwood NJ. I have the original registration and window sticker. Actually, I was there the day he bought it and remember the maroon 1966 buick electra 225 that he traded in on it. My grandfather left me this car in his will and I took possesion of it in early 1996. The car had fallen into disrepair and was almost scrapped. There was a gas line leak and engine fire sometime in mid 1994. The car sat in my grandfathers driveway for 1 1/2 years collecting leaves and bugs. I have spent several thousand dollars and hundreds of hours restoring this car with my own hands. The only job I farmed out was the paint job, although I did the body work. I rebuilt the engine and transmission, repaired rust holes in both fenders, quarter panels, and front and rear glass water channels. I also replaced the vinyl top and window/door weatherstripping.

Hey Dad the car looks great on the webpage, the pictures look great but it is so much better to see it in person. So far I haven't seen another car on this site that could match it. I think I am going to try and put up some pictures of my beautiful Cabriolet.
