Yes, an updated picture.

I finally got a new stereo for the TC. The stock JBL unit was decent enough, for a tape deck, with the six speakers on factory amps, but it's absolutely dated. So I got this.

An Alpine CDA-9827 mp3 unit new for '04, for about $400.

The most recent photo I have of my TC. Hours after the final coat of Candy Apple Red. It ended up much darker than this, and now the scoops are Charcoal Smoke Metallic. It gives quite the interesting effect. More info and pics on pg 6, of the body repair/paint process.

This is my 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe . I've been the owner since March of 2002. Purchase price was $3G's, which I see to be a bit higher than what most t.c. drivers pay for their machines. Before it was insured, in June, I replaced the Alternator, Battery and starter. These three items in conjunction got me stranded in the middle of the city on my first outing with the car. Seemed like a bad omen, but they were easy, if not cheap, fixes.
Then life goes on and the t.c. drives beatifuly. There was a problem with a fluctuating idle, wich seemed to be a common problem with fords, as the IAC gets dirty over time. I'm not sure if the cat has been gutted yet, but that's sure to happen soon.

This car seemed bone stock at purchase, but recent examination has revieled a completely aftermarket exhaust system, aft of the turbo. This includes a superbly oversized down-pipe, and an upsized dual setup. Sorry, I don't know the dimenssions as of yet, but this will be measured very soon.

Nice ride. I just bought my self a 87 Tbird in Fort Saskatchewan and drove it all the way home to Cochrane. I have to do some bodywork on it but yours looks good.I will have to start a domain site for my Tbird.
