Here it is, my new baby! It's got 74k miles that are claimed to be original. Based on the condition, it's possible. The car is 100% stock and original except for the obvious GTO hood and spoiler, and the chrome rims, as documented by PHS.
I plan on taking this little LeMans and having some fun with it. The 350 2V 265 hp motor and 2spd auto tranny will be upgraded. Nothing that can't be reversed, but enough to make it that much more fun to drive and enjoy.
Plans include a period correct Quadrajet, manifold and a cam to support it. Next will be a 3spd automatic warmed over, then eventually a posi with gears to match. I'll also upgrade to HEI, headers and 2.5" exhaust instead of the 2".
See it on the Ultimate GTO web site.
(See other pages for progress updates) Note the hiddent temp gauge wire in vacuum tubing: And this is a pic of my car at Macum auction in 2003:

Hey Adam Great looking Pontiac. Sounds and looks like a great job on the drive train. We are doing a 1968 Plymouth GTX with the 440 and I am going to do a little bore and stroke on it. Already has the four barrel and it will not look to far from origional. I know you will have fun with your ride it really looks super.Jerry
