SOLD! Never has anal rape hurt so badly. I sold it at a $5000 loss. Paid $3500 for it under 1 year ago, spent over $4000 on it, then sold it for $2700. Im not smart, I know.
Check below for updates, and page 2 for my plan for the car in detail.

Took some new shots tonight. Not much, but I was bored

This is my 87' Turbo II that I bought about a year ago. I picked it up in Atlanta for $3,500. This is how it was when I got it home.

Here is a picture of both mine and my freinds T2's. His is an 88' and mines an 87'. Both cars are clean and mostly stock... only for now though!

UPDATE 04/29/07:
I have had a change of heart as far as mods go. I was planning a mild build with streetport, BNR hybrid turbo and an Rtek 2.0 ecu upgrade. After more trouble with wiring and fuel system being 20 years old and worn out I decided Rtek wasnt the best route for me some Im going full standalone, new harness and all new stainless fuel lines with fittings to fix my shitty rubber line problem. Im gonna go full bridgeport and larger aftermarket turbo to put the BNR to shame. My old goal was 325-350whp but now seeing as I plan to retire this to weekend fun car and buy a more fuel efficient daily driver I will maybe shoot for a higher 450whp+ mark with this new build plan. It will probably cost me a few thousand dollars more but in the long run will be worth it just to get rid of that old ratty dried up wiring harness. And if I go that far why not go ahead and get a larger turbo, and if that why not a bridgeport instead of modest streetport. It all fell into place and it has been decided. So now Ive gone from street machine to street/track monster!!! Im torn between a T61, T67 and a 60-1 turbo though, Im not sure which one would be the right one. Im gonna be doing mostly interstate runs and road driving. Not much track driving involved so lag isnt a huge issue.
UPDATE 04/20/07:
I now have all of my new parts installed. Mostly tuneup parts. Got NGK wires, new fuel filter, new O2 sensor and a Joe P boost controller installed. Stock boost was ~5psi and now I have it set to only ~8psi for safety. Plus the stock turbo starts getting out of its efficiency range at around 10psi. Can deffinately feel a bit more of a pull along with a faster spool. Im hitting 4-5psi by 3,200rpm as before I wouldnt hit that till nearly 4,500rpm
UPDATE 04/16/07:
I will be buying my Joe P Inline boost controller and a Bonez intake system tomarrow. Shoud be here by late this week. Intake kit does away with the stock airbox and plumbing and jut puts a nice billet aluminum adaptor and cone filter on the AFM. Should gain a little hp and open the turbo to breath a bit easier. Boost controller will up my boost from my current 5-6psi to around 9-10psi. Should gain a few ponies :-)
UPDATE 03/27/07:
Got some new tires today. BFGoodrich g-Force Sport 225/55/16 on the stock wheels. It rides SO much smoother and looks a hell of a lot better since the old tires were dry rotted and ugly. They have close to the highest ratings on TireRack. Im happy with my $500 purchase so far!
UPDATE 03/19/07:
Got a spoiler today along with some other goodies. Have an Autometer SportComp2 boost gauge on the way, along with a boost controller so I can up the boost from 5.5psi to 10psi for now.

Here are some quick pictures I took before dark. This is just after getting the engine back in.

UPDATE 02/25/07:
Finished up the last few things, except getting my wastegate on my turbo fixed. Ill do that tomarrow and bolt it back up to the manifold. Then the engine goes back in! Here are some pictures of it:

UPDATE 02/23/07:
Got pretty much everything done except putting the engine and trans back in. Engine cleaned, painted, new front and rear main seal in. LIM back in with oil and fuel injectors in and wired/hosed up. OMP back in with new gasket and lines. Unused coolant lines blocked off. Flywheel and counterweight on, along with clutch. Trans got washed and had the front cover and seal replaced, along with new clutch fork and pivot ball. Covered the front cover with home mix of grease and graphite for smoother operation. Bolted it back together and have it hanging ready to have the oil pan gasket changed. Then all it lacks is being put back in the car. So if all goes right, I should be back on the road by mid next week. Wish me luck!
UPDATE 02/12/07:
Did some cleaning and painting today. Painted the UIM, LIM, Primary Fuel Rail, Oil filler tube, and some other little parts. I used a base layer of silver, and then 2 coats of chrome paint. The fuel rail was the same plus 2 extra coats of anodized purple. Got the blockoff plates on. Had to remove the studs that once held nuts to make way for the new shiney bolts to take their place. Everything going smooth so far. Rain day tomarrow and the next few days so no progress till late in the week.

UPDATE 02/11/07:
Just got the engine and trans out today. Im not starting the process of cleaning and piecing back together. Going to paint stuff and pretty it up, along with all new gaskets. Looking inside, it seems the rear rotor has some seal issues. Rear rotor has oil and fuel mixture in it, along with some coolant. Check out all of that gunk :-)

UPDATE 02/06/07:
Car has been down for a few days now. im in the process of pulling the engine and tranny. Im going to install the new ACT StreetLite Flywheel and CenterForce Duel Friction clutch. Also replacing tranny front cover and seal, pilot bearing and throwout bearing of course. Then also while the engine is out Im going to go ahead and simplify the engine and do away with all the emissions I dont need, and alot of the wiring harness. Also going to paint my manifold and TB, and replace all hoses and gaskets. Oil pan gasket, OMP gasket, new custom clear teflon OMP lines, blockoff plates for removing emissions and new front and rear main seals. Some more parts that Im leaving out like Clutch pivot and fork, new stainless clutch line. Then the engine is getting some paint as well... all that comes to mind right now. Should have it all installed and back on the road in about 3-4 weeks. At the very most 6 weeks.

This is the exterior as it was when I got it after a clean up. She needs and will be getting paint within the next several months. Paint isnt my top priority though, power is!

Here is the super clean interior. It will be staying stock because it will be a sleeper and doesnt need any interior mods. Since I got the car, I have gotten a nice Pioneer head unit and surround to make it look clean. Also got an ashtray, which is a perfect color match. Also an Autometer SportCompII 30in.hg. through 20psi boost gauge. Along with a set of clear floor mats since they are easy to clean when they get dirty.

This is the engine as it was when I bought the car. So far I just have supporting mods, and have replaced all external gaskets, along with replaced clutch and all seals and bearings to go along. Look above for a total parts list for the "rebuild" and for the engines current look. This is outdated by several months
