this is how the engine is now, complete and running.

the engine all ready to go in the truck! aint it pretty!

the left and right explorer exhaust manifolds. they arent pretty but they clear everything nicely.

the wiring nightmare

heres the HO 5.0 thats been pulled from the t-bird.

the engine pulled apart to replace the gaskets and whatnot. its already been rebuilt lately.

the difference between the t-bird upper intake and the mustang gt upper intake im using. mustang intake is on top.

heres a dummy 302 they used to set everything up mock up the clearance issues.

explorer throttle body adaptor that will allow me to keep my AC and the AC box with notch for clearance

the empty engine bay and engine cross-member and massaged transmission tunnel

this is the old 2.9 that was pulled from the truck.

the radiator and a/c condenser shoehorned into the radiator support. theres NO room between them and the grill.

you can sorta see the dummy block through the grill.
