E39-Bimmer's 1998 BMW 5-Series

This is the Head Unit i'm currently using. Its an Eclipse CD3000. Fantastic unit but i'm switching to a Kenwood? Yeah I know, if the Eclipse is so fantastic why am I switching? Well my Kenwood Music Keg using a CD Changer Port. Yes, the Eclipse has one but with Kenwood I can hear the title of songs, artist ect without taking my eyes off the road when I change tracks. It will show this information on screen as well.

I'm using MB Quarts for my Mids and Highs with crossovers mounted on the back panel that hides the area for Nav/DVD system. My amp is install in this compartment as well.

Behind this rear armrest and the flap that would cover the ski bag is my new subwoofer. Its a 10" Rockford Fosgate 4ohm in an unported box. Sounds great too!

i'm going to have the front of the box covered in Suede to match my headliner. That's right! I have a Black Suede headliner! Its off the chain too!!!

I don't know about you but when I raise my trunk lid. I don't want the world to see what I have in my car (audio). Therefore, I made this privacy panel. No, it won't be covered in Suede but it will be made to look as the rest of the trunk looks. Light grey carpet.

The first photo shows the cutout in the uncovered panel for my Kenwood Music Keg Mounted to my Subwoofer Box. The second photo is how it would look standing behind the car with the trunk raised. Not bad huh?E39-Bimmer's 1998 BMW 5-SeriesE39-Bimmer's 1998 BMW 5-Series
This photo is just a closer look at the mounting of the Kenwood Music Keg

I can make these if anyone wants one. It mounts just past the 2 black metel hook on the floor of the trunk. See them in the picture?
