This is my '71 jag. It's a 4.2 litre in-line 6. Four speed manual. Baby blue exterior, black/navy interior.
My dad bought it back in '73 after the first owner had misjudged the length of the bonnet... and ended up getting it clipped when it was halfway out into the intersection. (The previous owner had all repairs done before it was sold).
Since then, there have only been a few small restorifications. Most recent was last winter, when the exhaust system was replaced, as well as restoring the interior.
And.... well... the new deck and speaker combo I put in about a month ago.... (apparently, we were practically the only E-Type left on this planet with the original AM radio left in it!?)
Cute bum!
Interesting to note, 1971 was the first year of the V12 series III E-type, yet this series II was listed under the same year. Turns out that back then, if the car wasn't sold on the lot in the year it was made, the dealer could up the year, making it appear newer! So this is fact in our case, she's actually a '70!
Heated, indoor stored since we've owned it. Never winter-driven. Always baby'd.
Even has some winter company!:

Need. better. pictures!
But, on a lighter note, this is an amazing car, not only to look at, but to drive as well. Pure. Sex. ohyeah.
