This is my 1989 Trans Am. I bought this car originally with a new racing 350 that was all chromed out and modded, but it wouldn't work in the car because of the entire fuel delivery system, electrical harness, manifolds, and yeah, throttle body. In addition, the add-ons on the engine weren't jiving, so I just said, for time and money's sake, forgetaboutit. I just threw in, instead of a TBI, a 305 TPI with a couple mods (Pics will come soon). As for the add-ons, we have:
-305 TPI engine block
-TPI Air Foil
-Custom Home-made Ram Air Box
-A/C Delete Pulley
-308 Eaton Racing Posi Rear
-16" Formula rims with Cooper Zeon ZPT tires (Traction is always nice)
-KYB GR-2 Rear Shocks
-KYB GR-2 Front Struts
-Lakewood Adjustable Panhard Rod (w/ Polyurethane Bushings)
-Lakewood Boxed Rear Control Arms(w/ Polyurethane Bushings)
-Walbro High-Output Fuel Pump
-Newer Design Gas tank to prevent fuel sloshing (Already on there)
-Dynomax Superconverter (High-flow Catalytic Converter)
-Dynomax Super-Turbo Catback Exhaust System (I may wind up putting my Flowmasters 80-Series on there though, I'm not sure)
-TPI Performance Chip from TPI Specialties, LLC.
-Accel Distributor Cap and Rotor
-Moroso Blue Maxx Spiral Core Spark Plug Wires
-Double Platinum Spark Plugs
-Kenwood Head Unit
-Kenwood Speakers
-Kenwood Tube Subwoofer
-Pioneer Amp
Reductions:
-AC Delete
Plans for the future:
-Air Pump Delete / Pulley
-Edelbrock Adjustable Torque Arm
-Aluminum driveshaft
-Hooker headers
-Custom true dual catback exhaust
-A PAINT JOB!! (This one was so bad, oh man its horrible... Anyone want to do it for me for cheap? heh)
-SLP Siamese Runners
-K&N Air Filter
-Want to see if I can custom weld a ram-air hood with a friend. It'd be fun to do, and if it worked out, the reward would be awesome.
That's it as of right now. As things progress, I will update. I'm open for suggestions and tips, so please, give me some suggestions! Thanks for looking!
